Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Retail Space Planner (PLCB Marketing Analyst 2) in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Reference #: 4442674 THE POSITION The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) has an exciting opportunity for a professional Retail Space Planner to support the Retail Merchandising Division for all PLCB Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores. This role will be responsible for shelf management, merchandising, and will conduct product performance analysis to maximize efficiency and profitability. DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Retail Space Planner, you will utilize your analytics skills to create and maintain shelf sets for all retail merchandise for the PLCB. In this role you will be responsible for merchandising optimization, collaborating with industry advisors to create benchmarks shelf set models, publish benchmark planograms, create and revise annual planograms specific to over 500 PLCB Fine Wine & Good Spirit stores, establish store specific  strategies for category placement, maintain a database for shelf sets that interface with Supply chain allowing stock calculations, and develop new strategies and administer those strategies in select stores. This role with have the authority to regulate the amount, sequence, and timing of tasks related to the shelf merchandising program and will- make technical decisions about item placement based on store data and industry-validated principles.

Candidates who would be successful in this role will have prior experience using planogram software, and possess retail experience within space management, merchandising, assortment, and/or merchandise planning.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week. Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, one in-office day a week with future potential to become full-time telework. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters Northwest Office Building in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a PLCB Marketing Analyst 1; or Two years of professional marketing, advertising, or merchandising experience and a bachelor's degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
