Alaskan and Proud Markets is a locally owned and operated Grocery Store headquartered in Ketchikan, Alaska. We are looking for an energetic and innovative person to join our Ketchikan bakery team. Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic understanding of commercial kitchen operations
• Strong work ethic and dependable
• Strong verbal and communication skills
• Follow and comply with company policies and procedures
• Follow Recipes and direction of shift supervisor
• Follow and complies with Health and Safety policies
• Must be able to obtain food handler certification within 30 days
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly.
• Ability to stand/walk for a full 8-hr work period
• Basic full body motions: bending, twisting, squatting, lifting, reaching
• Flexibility with work schedule (including weekends and holidays).
• Have reliable transportation options to make it to work on time
• Ability to arrive to work on time ready to start work
• Must be over 21
• Ability to wear face protection while working

*Duties and Responsibilities: *

• Baking ready to bake items as directed
• Following recipes when baking AP Fresh products
• Assembling, dating, and packaging products
• Stocking
• Freight
• Taking and Tracking Temperature logs
• Cleaning, Maintaining work and merchandising areas
• Merchandising products as directed
• Misc. job tasks as assigned by store director or supervisor
• Obtain and keep current food handlers card

Salary Range:

• $13.50/hr. - $16/hr. depends on qualifications and experience
