Lamar Community College Part Time Seasonal Groundskeeper in Lamar, Colorado

POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Part-Time Seasonal Groundskeeper. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of our outdoor spaces, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for visitors and residents.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform general grounds keeping duties such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Maintain flower beds and plantings, including watering, weeding, and pruning. Remove litter and debris from outdoor areas. Assist in the maintenance and repair of outdoor structures, fences, and equipment. Operate groundskeeping equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers safely and efficiently. Always follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Must have reliable transportation Ability to use grounds keeping tools and machinery effectively PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Familiarity with sprinkler systems and other landscaping equipment

Salary Range: $14.42/ hour. 28 hours per week.
