Job Description

* Designing and detailing of bulk material handling equipment. Examples are drag chain conveyors, screw conveyors, belt conveyors, rotary feeders, chutes, hoppers, silos, structural platforms, stairs and ladders.

* Design and create plant layouts, equipment general arrangements, customer approval drawings, P&I's, material flow diagrams, shop fabrication drawings (detail drawings), and plate cutting templates. Drawings include dimensioning, welding specifications, and machining tolerances, BOMs, and flat pattern details.

Skills and Requirements

* 5+ years drafting experience (they use AutoCAD 2D and Autodesk Inventor)

* Read and understand shop fabrication blueprints

* Familiar with conveying equipment design or related machinery design

* A good understanding of machining, welding and fabrication processes

* Experience or exposure to designing rotating equipment using with motors, gear reducers, sprockets and chains. * Structural detailing background null
