Hanford Mission Integration Solutions Construction Technical Specialist (39019) in Richland, Washington

Job Duties/Scope Of Work JOB SUMMARY: The Construction Technical Specialist interfaces directly with the Project Test Director, Construction Manager, Project Manager, and Integrated Project Team (IPT) to develop and maintain the associated Construction Inspection and Test Matrix (CITM). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Oversee the development and implementation of CITMs for all HMIS construction projects. - Serve as the Testing and Commissioning Group CITM subject matter expert (SME). - Develop and maintain Project CITM per approved procedures and processes. - Develop and maintain CITM related procedures and forms, and revise as necessary, in accordance with changing regulatory requirements, business processes, and other HMIS procedural requirements. - Conduct 30, 60, 90% Design reviews: * Assess design with respect to testability and compliance with Codes and Standards * Assess specifications with respect to required testing and reporting of results * Interface with the System Design Authority for development of Test Plan, including test acceptance criteria - Review Engineering Change Documents (ECNs & DCNs): * Same aspects as 30, 60, 90% reviews (as applicable) - Interface with Project team members to oversee development, implementation, and closeout of CITMs. - Interface with Project team members for review and disposition of comments, and approval, of Project CITMs. - Interface with applicable Buyer Technical Representatives (BTRs) and Contract Specialists to promulgate approved CITMs to applicable subcontractor. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree - OR - an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Three (3) or more years of related experience in a similar role. - Proficient in MS Word and Excel. - Proficient in procedure writing. - Proficient in reading and understanding drawings, specifications, Codes and Standards. Desired Qualifications - Experience in project startup, including developing and implementing startup procedures, Operating and Maintenance manuals, and operator training programs. - Experience in commissioning large projects.
