Princess Cruises – We are currently searching for a data savvy Marketing Analyst who thrives on digging into data and uncovering insights that will drive and improve our Princess Cruises and Cunard marketing programs. The analyst will go beyond the obvious and be able to derive the ‘why’ behind the data and present these findings in executive level PowerPoint presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Query and analyze data to develop campaign targeting segments that optimize email and direct marketing campaigns

  • Set up A/B tests for marketing campaigns, provide targeted email and direct mail lists and analyze test results

  • Propose, present and discuss targeting strategy with extended team based on review & analysis of post campaign performance, product initiatives, digital and brand data to improve consumer conversion rates and drive incremental sales

  • Automate recurring campaigns and reports

  • Develop accurate recurring and ad hoc reports in Excel and PowerPoint by writing database queries, extracting data and analyzing trends

  • Develop thorough understanding of the campaign performance logic implemented in the Siebel CRM system and connect data across multiple data systems (Siebel, Responsys, Adobe Analytics, and the corporate data warehouse)

  • Responsible for accuracy of data, data logic and data cleanliness

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Math, Statistics, Programming, Economics or a related field

  • 3+ years in an analytical position or equivalent masters level coursework

  • Critical thinking and problem solving

  • Proficiency in translating data findings into executive level PowerPoints

  • Excellent verbal, written and oral communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word/Excel/PowerPoint

  • Working knowledge of SQL (Oracle preferred) or similar query language

  • Extensive experience manipulating data and numerical fluency

  • Statistical modeling in R, SPSS, SAS, Excel or equivalent

  • Strong relationship building skills and ability to work collaboratively and enthusiastically within and across multiple departments

  • Experience with Tableau, Business Objects, Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Workbench and/or Responsys preferred but not required
