Princess Cruises – We are currently searching for a highly motivated Channel Marketing Specialist who is responsible for developing, implementing and analyzing integrated marketing programs that drive conversion, including public offers and the on-time delivery of direct mail, email & digital advertising communications. Reporting directly to the Channel Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements and analyzes integrated marketing programs that drive conversion, including public offer communications and the on-time delivery of direct mail, email & digital advertising communications

  • Recommends and presents strategy for various retail initiatives (which marketing touch points: digital, social, mail, email) and KPI/objectives for measuring success (i.e. ROI, web visits, open/click rate, bookings, etc.); ability troubleshoot and offer solutions for best consumer journey experience

  • Creates and manages project schedules to ensure projects are completed on time, fit within brand guidelines and proofed by all necessary stakeholders to ensure accuracy

  • Fosters collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders to gather & organizes relevant details to inform strategy and creative brief

  • Works closely with creative and digital marketing team to ensure emails are relevant, mobile friendly and reach open, click to open and conversion rate goals

  • Collects results from various stakeholders, analyzes & shares the reports as well as makes recommendations for improvement

  • Tests and optimizes direct mail, email & digital ads, working with creative/production on formats and CRM & Digital Marketing team on targeting and segmenting for better conversion and ROI

  • Researches cruise line/travel/hospitality competitive promotional offers and shares/recommends tests quarterly

    Requirements

  • Bachelor of the Arts or Bachelor of Science in a related field

  • 5+ years’ experience in retail/promotional marketing, either as a corporate client or in a marketing agency; travel or hospitality preferred

  • Experience with online advertising, direct mail and email marketing

  • Planning and strategizing integrated communications programs across multiple media is critical

  • Ability to understand data-driven results (Direct Response marketing – mail, email & digital advertising)

  • Strong interpersonal skills required for communication with management, other departments, agencies, designers and colleagues

  • Copywriting/editing skills helpful

  • Organizational skills and ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
