We are currently searching for a highly motivated Director, Product Management Europe & Exotics who will be responsible for generating and optimizing revenue for a $500M+ cruise portfolio. This position will work closely with departments across the organization (including marketing, sales, hotel operations and casino) and will develop and implement strategic business, pricing and promotional plans to stimulate demand and use yield management tools to optimize revenue.

  • Leads team to develop and execute Business Plans for their cruise product portfolio, including annual promotional plan and related pricing strategies.

  • Closely monitors business activity through a variety of in-house and corporate reports with a view to meeting or exceeding operational NTR plans by quarter (course correcting where necessary).

  • Develops Fiscal Year forecasts for revenue and occupied beds on their portfolio of cruises. Subsequently provides related monthly updates with a view to minimizing adjustments throughout the year.

  • Makes decisions and provides direction to pricing team to ensure the right price is in market at the right time for a variety of guest segments and markets.

  • Pro-actively identifies challenges and opportunities related to achieving NTR goals and creates action plans to address areas of weaknesses throughout the year.

  • Continuously develops and refines key and/or exclusive selling points for each product to ensure our guests see the best and most relevant aspects of our vacation experience for them.

  • Refines and provides direction on messaging used in promotional activity in conjunction with other Product Directors in Santa Clarita and Seattle.

  • Work with Onboard marketing and Hotel Operations to develop new product initiatives designed to improve demand at increased prices and ensures product exceeds guest expectations.

  • Key liaison with marketing teams and provides input on their annual and ongoing spending plans.

  • Makes decisions related to prioritizing products within marketing communications.

  • Ensures product training for CVPs, Large Accounts and Overseas Offices is up to date and carried out at regular and appropriate intervals.

  • Oversees content and process relating to destination pages on and works with SEO marketing team and Product Manager to increase site visits to those pages.

  • Proposes major process and resource improvement initiatives to executive team within area of responsibility as needed and makes hiring decisions for their team.

  • Works with Commercial Teams to continuously innovate and define promotional system architecture

  • Engages in monthly meetings with sister brands Holland America and Carnival with a view to optimizing revenue outcomes at Princess.

  • Engages in regular meetings with UK and AU teams for cross-selling of products.

  • Work with other Product Teams regarding ongoing Revenue Management training tools, techniques and sharing best practice

  • Outline and pro-actively address YODA integration into SOX compliance.

  • Manages, coaches and mentors two direct reports and numerous indirect reports.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience.

  • 8+ years of product management/marketing/pricing experience.

  • 6+ years in a managerial role.

  • Excellent Analytical skills and Financial Management

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

  • Strong people management, planning, and organizational skills.

  • Collaboration, consensus building and negotiation skills critical to success.


  • MBA.

  • 10 years of product management/marketing/pricing experience.

  • Experience in travel, hospitality, entertainment or packaged goods.

  • Direct marketing and client-side supervision of creative development experience.
