Princess Cruises – We are currently searching for a highly motivated Marketing Manager, Guest Experience . Managing a wide variety of marketing communications projects from creative inception to execution, this individual will support our primary objective of enhancing the guest experience onboard Princess Cruises through the marketing and promotion of our Guest Experience areas (Entertainment, Food & Beverage and Hotel Operations). Projects span the customer journey from the time of booking through the guest experience onboard and range from e-mail and print to branding and product development. The role entails writing strategic creative briefs, communicating with internal clients, managing changing priorities and timelines, and upholding brand standards. Reporting directly to the Director of Onboard Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with the Guest Experience Team (Entertainment, F&B and Hotel Operations) to innovate, develop and market value-added customer-centric guest experiences across the Princess fleet.

  • Drive ideation, research and testing with the Consumer Research team to identify innovative, profitable new onboard experiences.

  • Create awareness for Princess Guest Experience areas onboard through marketing communications to guests (prospects & onboard) as well as internal employees and travel agents.

  • Audit and analyze existing guest experience marketing programs for each respective business unit (Entertainment, F&B & Hotel Operations). Summarize findings and identify opportunities for future program expansion with proposed rollout schedule.

  • Help meet or exceed YOY NPS growth through collaboration with the Guest Experience teams to improve and enhance key guest experience areas. This includes the development of additional marketing communications & promotions to support new onboard initiatives with drive positive guest experiences onboard and to improve or remove negative guest experiences onboard.

  • Effectively manage team members to support onboard marketing goals.

Requirements

  • BA/BS required

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing management/communications in either a corporate setting or agency

  • Strong interpersonal skills (written and verbal) are required to communicate with management, other departments, agencies, designers and colleagues

  • Must be organized with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously

  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to present complex issues and results, make and support recommendations, and problem-solve

  • Demonstrate ownership for projects, including attention to detail

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office

Preferences

  • Experience in the travel/hospitality industry is helpful but not required.

  • Copy editing skills are preferred.
