Princess Cruises is a global cruise line operating in and sourcing from markets across the world. The Revenue Analyst position is based in Santa Clarita, California and will support the International product team using inventory and revenue management skills to maximize revenue in markets outside of North America.

The International product team is one of five product teams that manage our cruise revenue across the world. The team is responsible for ships deployed across Asia and South America, as well as sourcing passengers from across the world to support Princess' global deployments.

  • Focus on maximizing revenue and inventory during tactical pricing period

  • Focus on hitting company occupancy targets

  • Recommends and implements pricing initiatives for communications to consumers and travel agents, with a focus on email and other tactical pricing levers.

  • Monitors booking performance of voyages vs. targets and makes recommendations for course correction as needed

  • Ensures optimization of revenue by managing promotion availability, raising fares or adjusting inventory availability

  • Works with Promotional Support Coordinator to ensure all promotions are built, proofed and open for sale on time

  • Uses Revenue Management Systems and other data analyses to support strategies and proactively identify opportunities for revenue growth

  • Sets intra-day inventory limits for assigned voyages in POLAR reservation system by opening/closing space as needed

  • Monitors booking performance of voyages vs. targets and makes recommendations for course correction as needed

  • Provides commercial direction and focus for tactical weekly marketing communications

  • Develops and distributes weekly pricing minutes and reviews direct marketing for message and prices to ensure proper implementation

  • Reviews marketing collateral for brand messaging and content to ensure global brand continuity

  • Responds to customer service for pricing and inventory related questions via phone and e-mail.


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics or related field or equivalent work experience

  • Two years of related experience in revenue management, market planning and/or analysis

  • Prior travel industry experience is a plus

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to apply analytical skills, meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel

  • Experience in Tableau, Business Objects a plusWorking knowledge of computerized yield/revenue management and database management systems a plus
