Holland America Group is currently searching for a highly motivated Logistics Coordinator II who is responsible for coordinating delivery of purchase order material to and from designated 3 rd party warehousing/forwarder facilities. This position reports to the Manager of Supply Chain Special Projects/ Dry Dock Logistics.

Receive and process internal requests for shipping quotes from 3 rd party vendors to the fleet
Track and trace inbound and outbound shipments for timeliness and reporting purposes
Coordinate receiving of shipments with 3 rd party warehouse to ensure both quality and quantity
Maintain communications with 3 rd party forwarding staff to ensure timely delivery of goods
Coordinate deliveries with 3 rd party forwarders for repair or returned items
Arrange with internal customers and 3 rd party forwarders to coordinate timing for Furnishings Materials to be sent out to the fleet ships to meet riding crew schedules
Monitor that 3 rd party Logistic provides follow procedures and provide required reporting on scheduled drydocks and special projects
Work with Purchasing, vendors and 3 rd party forwarder to resolve issues with purchase order pick up and distribution as required
Assist with tracking of fleet offload shipments to final destinations
Perform other duties related to special projects as required
Minimum 1 year working in a cruise logistics reporting environment
Knowledge regarding Cruise ship knowledge
Must be an attention to detail person
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Excellent communication, problem solving, and teamwork skills
Must be able to adapt to quickly changing situations
Should be competent working on a computer, with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheets and MS Outlook
- 3-5 years Logistics/Supply Chain experience preferred
