The Holland America Group is currently searching for a highly motivated Safety Specialist, Emergency Response Plans who will be responsible for support and maintenance of existing Emergency Response Plans (ERPs) and the new HA Group ERP in development for the HAL and Seabourn fleets.

Execute day-to-day administration of the existing ship-specific Emergency Response Plans Verify and coordinate ship-requested changes or amendments
Coordinate the updating of all supporting Flag-stamped documents such as Station Bill/Muster List, Crew Emergency Plan (CEP) and the Evacuation & Abandonment Plan (EAP)
Manage the production and delivery of physical components of the ERP, such as Decision Support System Update Kits, dry dock changes to flag-stamped documents, Mass Casualty Plans, Emergency Announcements, From the Captain / Welcome booklets, Safety Caps for Emergency Teams, etc.
Maintain an accurate List of Amendments for each ship’s electronic ERP
Ensure consistency and accuracy of the Emergency Duty Instructions (EDIs), AMOS checklists/training instructions and other training PowerPoints that are posted on eFleet
Generate reports using the Station Bill Database. Update and maintain this database for additions, deletions and changes to Job Function/Position titles, Safety Functions and emergency duty stations
Assist in the production of support materials for a new HA Group ERP
Recommend system and process changes as needed to meet business data requirements and improve efficiency
Associates Degree or equivalent experience
2+ years of project management, marketing communications or equivalent experience
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and Microsoft Project
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Experience using databases and maintaining them for accuracy
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical team members
Strong project management and organizational skills and ability to multi-task
