The Technical Business Analyst (TBA) position will consist of multiple roles in the product management organization including a variety of analysis and coordination activities to drive SDLC projects. The TBA will be accountable for individual pieces or whole products of Greenway’s software/services which may include data analysis, training, assessing the market, competitive analysis, pricing, product strategy and product planning. The Technical Business Analyst contributes largely to the overall success of specific products and in assuring a data-driven approach for product management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Proactively and independently work with stakeholders to construct use cases and associated standardized outputs.

  • Interface with key business customers and partners to troubleshoot and define future business requirements.

  • Translate complex or ambiguous business problem statements into analysis requirements.

  • Provide analytical support for Product Management teams.

  • Produce detailed business requirements, coordinate and manage user acceptance test plans, and participate in stakeholder management.

  • Partner with stakeholders to identify, develop and deploy metrics to answer key business questions.

  • Partner with senior leadership to understand business challenges, and provide data/analysis for better decision making.

  • Communicate complex analysis and insights to senior leaders, both verbally and in writing.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, healthcare administration, or a related field.

  • Three (3)+ years of experience as a business analyst, preferably within the healthcare IT industry.

  • Experience conducting user research and translating user needs into product requirements.

  • Experience with project management tools and data analysis tools (a plus).

  • Proficiency with database applications, AWS and/or FHIR experience, preferred

  • Proficiency in product management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.

  • Proven track record of defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights

  • In-depth understanding of ambulatory care workflows, challenges, and best practices (e.g., scheduling, billing, clinical documentation), preferred.

  • Highly motivated and self-directed individual.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, lead cross-functional teams, and meet deadlines.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

  • While at work, this position is primarily a sedentary job and requires that the associate can work in an environment where they will consistently be seated for the majority of the workday.

  • This role requires that one can sit and regularly type on a keyboard the majority of their workday.

  • This position requires the ability to observe a computer screen for long periods of time to observe their own and others’ work, as well as incoming and outgoing communications via the computer and/ or mobile devices.

  • The role necessitates the ability to listen and speak clearly to customers and other associates.

  • The work environment is an open room with other associates and noise from others will be part of the regular workday.
