The Senior Manager Market Access Analytics and Enablement will have responsibility for project management activities for the US Market Access team. This includes, but not limited to; payer policy review and research, US CPT Coding, pricing, and fee schedule analysis, market analytics review and presentation development, US payer coverage dashboard validation, maintaining Daily Managements (DM) metrics, tracking and policy deployment (PD), Bowlers and action plans, commercial / distributor training development, MAPSS (promotional materials approval process) submission and reviews and seismic (resources) maintenance. These activities will be accomplished by collaborating closely with external and internal stakeholders, including the US market access team, government affairs, HEOR colleagues, customers, marketing, sales, regulatory and clinical affairs, federal government agencies/institutions, and/or managed care organizations. This position will report to Cepheid’s Senior Director of Market Access Americas as an individual contributor.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Contribute to US Market Access team strategies, objectives and KPI development

  • Maintains market access project management activities (DM, Bowlers, PD, Action Plans, Training, MAPPS Collateral, Seismic etc.)

  • Analyze US Reimbursement trends, coding changes, payment amounts, fee schedules and coverage status of Cepheid’s marketed tests within the US

  • Assists in development of commercial resources such as market access collateral development, commercial / distributer training, dossier development and payer presentations.

  • Cross-collaborate and coordinate with the broader Cepheid matrix organization to achieve US Market Access initiatives / objectives.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related work experience OR master’s degree with 6+ years of market access analytics experience OR Doctoral degree in field with 3+ years of work experience.

  • 6+ years of experience with analytics review and presentations

  • 2+ years of experience in payer policy reviews, reimbursement, health economics, or health policy issues in medical devices

  • 2+ years of experience in project management activities

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Knowledge of payer decision making processes, reimbursement rate setting, and compliance with federal program requirements is required. Knowledge of biological processes and molecular detection of disease/health is preferred. Experience with reimbursement for medical devices, particularly in vitro diagnostic (IVD) laboratory tests is preferred.

  • The successful candidate must have strong management, organizational, communication, negotiation and business development skills.

  • Must be able to handle multiple projects/products, be action-oriented, and engage effectively with cross-functional groups and senior management as appropriate. Must be able to coach other associates.

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $130,000-$160,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
