Description We are offering a contract opportunity for a Business Analyst in the manufacturing industry. This role is based in Wayne, Pennsylvania. The primary function of this position involves gathering requirements, coordinating testing, and mitigating potential roadblocks within the Agile framework. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in liaising between engineering teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are aligned on what is being delivered and why.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate regular meetings within the Agile framework, ensuring clear communication between engineering teams and business stakeholders

• Gather and document requirements from business stakeholders concerning service tickets, bugs, and defects

• Write and prioritize Product Backlog Items (PBIs) to ensure a clear understanding of expectations and deliverables

• Maintain sprints and associated activities in Azure DevOps (ADO)

• Collaborate with product owners and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across the group to identify dependencies and mitigate potential roadblocks

• Coordinate business member testing related to team backlog

• Participate in team ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint review, sprint planning, and other Agile heartbeat meetings

• Coordinate end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as required

• Leverage previous experience with APIs and digital transformation to enhance team capabilities

• Apply strong understanding of financial products, services, and regulatory requirements to the role where necessary Requirements • Demonstrated experience in a Business Analyst role within the Manufacturing industry

• Proven ability to perform documentation and review tasks

• Strong skills in design and project management

• Capability to perform ad hoc financial tasks

• Experience in digital and engineering aspects of business analysis

• Ability to engage with and manage stakeholders

• Record of regular attendance and punctuality

• Familiarity with Agile methodology

• Proven ability in prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively

• Experience in financial services is an advantage

• Knowledge of defect management and framework

• Experience with Microsoft Azure, API development, and scale-out approaches

• Familiarity with bug tracking and backlog grooming

• Ability to manage end-to-end processes

• Experience in business transformation and UAT

• Proficiency in performing gap analysis

• Mitigation skills are a plus

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
